ADHD Public Awareness Campaign

Awareness for ADHD in girls

“See Her Clearly” is a public social awareness campaign aimed at raising awareness of ADHD in girls and women.
The campaign adresses the underdiagnoses of ADHD symptoms in girls, often mistaken for personality traits rather than recognized as a neurodevelopmental condition. Unlike their male counterparts, girls are more likely to subtly exhibit hyperactive symptoms, for example in the form of doodling in class, bouncing legs, twirling hair or biting nails.
They might be messy, forgetful and disorganized and struggle to stay focused. These difficulties can create problems in school and their everyday lives, and when these issues go unnoticed, they may internalize them, which can lead to low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness of these signs so that girls can get the support they need much earlier in life.

This Public Awareness Campaign was made by me for a school project.
